You should have a quarantine tank to put the new fish, before introducing them to your main aquarium. You should put the new fish in your aquarium only after you are fully certain that the new fish is healthy.

Looking after a deep aquarium is a challenging job, especially if you don't have long arms. This is an important point when buying your home aquarium, you have to think about how you will clean the tank when a fish dies or falls sick.
