The Sarcoptic mites burrow themselves just below the top layer of the skin and they are much easier to reach. In many cases, infection is not present and the dogs immune system is not compromised. There is no need to use harsh toxic dips or oral medications as a Sarcoptic Mange Treatment.

You normally want to continue The Mange treatment several weeks after symptoms stop, the skin has healed and/or hair has started to grow back. It is also recommended that you give your pet vitamins to boost its immune system; this way he will be stronger to fight a future mange infestation.

Pets with mange symptoms are required to be isolated away from other pets to avoid cross contamination. Wash your pets bedding daily and keep your pet out of your own bed. Thoroughly clean a good Disinfectant Spray. Do not reintroduce the bedding, toys or any other items that the pet usually uses until the infestation has been contained and treated. If your pet gets reinfested with mange mites or the pet is not treated, the bed cleaning will have to be repeated again and again until the pet is mange-free.
