A creative way to memorialize your lost pet is to write a poem. Consider all of the times that he or she was there to keep you company or just give you a laugh. Once you've written the poem, have it engraved on a decorative stone and find a place for it in your garden. If you'd like to enjoy the poem inside your house, copy it in onto a sheet of fancy parchment paper and frame it. The third idea for memorializing your lost pet is to plant a tree in his or her honor. Perhaps your pet liked to exercise in a particular park or nearby woods. The photo album, or scrap book, could be separated into the various seasons of your pet's life. For instance, if you had a dog you could include photos of him or her as a puppy then as an adult dog.
