We try to look after them and supply proper care for them. Sometimes when we do what we think is right, things can still go bad. Pets, just like humans, can have allergic reactions to drugs that we give to them. Did you know that your pet may have a reaction to this medicine? Frontline and side-effects can include anything from skin irritation to neurological effects.

When you first administer a dosage of the medication you need to watch your pet closely for any appearances of a reaction. Fipronil is a pesticide. Methprene is an insect expansion regulator that controls the growth of eggs and larvae.

The medicine is applied topically between your pet's shoulder blades. It is not recommended for puppies under 8 weeks or kittens less than twelve weeks. Pets that are pregnant, sick or old should not be given the medicine.

One side effect can be skin irritation. Because Frontline is applied topically, the skin can become red and sensitive. If the pet gets the solution on their paw, they can accidentally spread it to other parts of their body like their eyes. This can result in a new problem because the medication can now travel to other parts of the body thru the blood. Your pet can also accidentally spread the drugs and then lick the area which has become contaminated. They can have barfing and diarrhea. All of these things can end up in weight loss. This can end up in more drooling than usual.

These issues can include sensitivity to overstimulation. This can make your pet become more twitchy and concerned. Your pet can become depressed. These are human feelings that we do not typically associate with our pets; but emotions that they can feel just as much as we will be able to. Once the medication is stopped, all these effects should go away also.

If you get the drugs on your skin when applying to your pet or when you are petting your pet, wash the area instantly with soapy water. You should not pet your pet directly after the medication is applied. You should wait for 24 hours. This reduces the possibilities of transferring the medicine to you.

With the Frontline and side effects that can happen to our pets, it would not be surprising if we chose to use natural methods of keeping fleas and ticks away. There are many natural cures that we will choose from. But like with using medicines, you need to do your research to be certain that it will not harm your pet. There are some out there that may be poisonous for the pet and perhaps for you too.

You may use a cedar shampoo, oil or cedar-filled bed. The cedar repels any insects. Keep the animal's skin healthy and moisturized. Pennyroyal is an herb that may be used but only if it is utilized fresh or as dried herbs. The oil can be deadly to you and your pet.

You can boil orange or lemon peel in water; after it cools it can be used as a flea dip for dogs (not moggies). Eucalyptus leaves can be used in the house; the smell will deter insects. Fennel grown in the yard keeps fleas out of the yard.

The pets bedding should be cleaned regularly. Putting small items in the dryer for 30 minutes can dump fleas. The flea eggs can be deposited onto furniture, rugs and bedding when the animal moves around. These eggs need to be finished or you've got to make sure you are vigilant about keeping everything clean until there are no more fleas for no less than a couple of months.

There plenty more natural remedies that you'll find online and in books. Some people call them home remedies or folks remedies. Making the decision to try these methods of preventing fleas and ticks can be a matter of not wanting to reveal your pet to presumably dangerous poisons. Garlic and brewer's yeast can be fed to your pet in small doses. It can lead to an odor in the pets coat and skin that will repel fleas. There's an issue with garlic though, you have got to watch out because too much garlic can be poisonous for a dog. Knowing the amount can be difficult to figure out when you're just using a mix of garlic and brewer's yeast. You can, however, find recipes for pet food and pet treats that you can make at home that include these ingredients.

Frontline plus complications and natural remedies need to be weighed heavily before you decide. This can mean the difference between helping your pet and hurting your pet.

We attempt to look after them and provide proper care for them. Occasionally when we do what we think is right, things can still go bad. Pets, just like humans, can have allergic reactions to drugs that we give to them.

You decide to use Frontline plus to protect your pet from fleas and ticks. Did you know that your pet could have a reaction to this medicine? Frontline plus side effects can include anything from skin irritation to neurological effects.

One side effect can be skin irritation. If the pet gets the solution on their paw, they can accidentally spread it to other parts of their body like their eyes. This can result in a new problem because the medicine can now travel to other parts of the body thru the bloodstream.

Ingestion can cause many issues for your pet. All of these things can end up in weight reduction. Your pet may experience an unjustifiable increase of saliva. This can end up in more drooling than common.

Another effect can be reversible neurological and psychological problems. These Problems can include sensitivity to overstimulation. This can make your pet become more frightened and concerned. These are human feelings that we don't typically associate with our pets; but emotions that they can feel just as much as we will be able to.

The long run Frontline and side-effects are not yet understood. Most of the effects are immediate or almost immediate. If you get the medicine on your skin when applying to your pet or when you're petting your pet, wash the area right away with soapy water. You shouldn't pet your pet without delay after the drugs is applied. You should wait for 24 hours. This decreases the chances of transferring the medicine to you.
