There sure is a special link that exists between humans and animals, especially the pets. They have this strange sense of protection towards humans. It's exciting to hear some amazing stories of animals rescuing humans. However, this obedient and selfless care is not only one sided. Humans are also on their front foot making life convenient and relaxing for their pets, and dog boarding Seattle and dog boarding Everett are a few examples in this case. The human gratitude is reasonable, but what's very touching is the animal smartness and its concern for his owner. Here are some stories on animals rescuing humans that will certainly leave you in awe.
The first one is an account from Bobbie Glover who resides in California. She was walking by her lab in a street near to her home when she stumbled in to a pot hole and fractured her legs. She was constantly calling for help, but there was no one near. Bobbie was in actual need of medical help so she encircled her hands around her pet and uttered the word "home". It was this exact pet called Boomer who dragged her home. After making it to the home, her husband instantly called 911. It's amazing how this pet that Bobbie had rescued from a shelter ended up rescuing her.
Another tale is of Hugh Ryono whose elephant seal puppy's name is Gumpy. Usually, he takes his pet to work. One day he fell on the deck close to his office which left him in a daze but was able to see three aggressive seal pups moving towards him. From one more end of the street there was Gumpy moving towards him. She became Hugh's shield and protected him against those pups. As they were coming in, she got in the way and swiftly forced them away. Hugh was surprised how his pet was aware of his occurrence and saw him exactly at the right time.
Janice Wolf tells his story of an incident in which his 11-month old Watusi calf, Lurch saved his life. Janice was in his back field when suddenly his calf turned sideways and blocked his path. The calf was being stubborn and not letting him go ahead. Janice tried to push him away by holding his horns but the calf moved his head turning him off balance. It was that very instant that Janice saw that a copperhead snake lay coiled in the spot where he was about to land. Lurch did what was best to save his owner. Janice says that he is much sensitive to insect bites and snake venom could have been lethal for him.
These interesting narrations of pets rescuing their owners prove that friendship and loyalty know no bounds. Animals as pets are a true gift, and there are scientific claims saying that pet owners have a decreased chance of stress, heart attack or stroke. Don't know how true that is, but, the pets do posses some healing powers besides their life saving ones.
