With the internet ever-growing and representing the, many and varied, interests and activities of humans, I felt it was high-time that we Jack Russells began to stake a claim. There is no question about it dogs are under-represented on the web, and the Jack Russell Terrier in particular; and so its my aim to ensure the balance is properly redressed. So thats why I have started the Parsons Nose " my Blog for discerning animals.
I have had a lot of encouragement from all my dog-friends so far. We all feel we need a way to get our voices heard and our opinions listened to. If you are a dog reading this, I bet you don't get your opinions heard. For example, does your owner know where you stand on the dog-biscuit controversy? I bet they don't! If you like biscuits - have they asked which ones you prefer? No - I thought not.
When you come to think about it, it is the humans who decided we should be eating dog-biscuits. We were never asked were we? At least, nobody asked me. I just started getting dog-biscuits; and the choice was - take it or leave it! So that's why we dogs need to be heard. Dogs like meat! Humans take notice.
So you can see why it is vitally important for us dogs of the world to unite and get our voices properly heard. If we all stick together, we may be able to influence our respective governments to get laws passed to ensure that we get our proper rights. Meat for all dogs; proper walks of a decent distance every day; and of course, extra treats even when weve not been good.
If you want to join in my campaign for dogs the world over, then visit my Dog Blog " The Parsons Nose " and leave me a message there. Together, we can change the world.
Love, Darcey,
