Who can refuse all those fluffy hairs, cozy expressions, and attractiveness of the American Eskimo dog? They are a real charmer too. American Eskimo dogs are very intimate, sportive, dedicated, and highly vigorous which you'll find are very pleasing traits for a fantastically cute dog.

American Eskimo dogs came from the arctic regions, hence much for its fluffy fur. They are a member of the Spitz dog family, American Eskimo dogs resembles in temperament much like Siberian husky or Pomeranian in its playfulness nature but have more intelligence and high-train ability than its arctic cousins. American Eskimo dogs are also really friendly, pack-oriented that is committed to every family member and suspicious to strangers. For that they make excellent family safety dogs, barking to announce strangers but won't needfully attack.

These features make American Eskimo dogs highly worthy being companion dogs. Their friendly nature compounded with their quick-learning ability makes them highly esteemed dogs as family pets. And because they are super cute, and provide a reason for taking care of such as their hair requires routin brushing. They are first choices for first time owners, either adult or children. They provide companionship or functioning as therapy dogs.

American Eskimo dogs, similar to most dogs of the polar region require a degree of exercise or play, especially when still a pup because they expend a lot of energy. The passage from pups to full grown dogs also tend to be slow, so the constant outdoor activities could be a burden for some. This prospect could be a positive factor by giving a person a reason to exercise and do some running.

The amount of hair on American Eskimo dogs can be a problem for some people as they require constant cleaning. Normally American Eskimo dogs are adapted to colder climates so they have a lesser effect of the "doggy sweat" smell, they will still stink enough with dirt stick to their coats. The fur underneath their eyes can stain too with tear stain if not clean out regularly. The routine to keep a clean American Eskimo dog is normally to shampoo (anti-flea shampoo if possible) once a week mix with coat brushing. This will also maintain and back tick and fleas away.

Finally, with white fluffy hair, a red lapping tongue, and a constant smiley face, a few other dogs can be as attractive as an American Eskimo dog. Make sure if you're bringing home an American Eskimo dog, you're ready to spend some quality time with it at a park or in the backyard.
