Rabbits are far from low maintenance pets. They do require a lot of human attention, interaction and they need to socialise a lot. Even though they do look very cute and cuddle, their strong back legs and their claws can really cause some damage if they do not want to be held by you.

For an older child, it can really be a great experience for them.
