Some are larger than others, and would work best on tables or stands, while smaller figurines would sit perfectly on a fireplace mantle or narrow shelf.
You should also consider the size of the urn. You want to pick a figurine of an appropriate size so it is proportional to the urn itself. Small urns should have small figurines while larger urns should have medium sized figurines. You should make sure the figurine fits properly on the urn and that the urn is strong enough to hold it.
